Happy days for music collectors, as great music just doesn't stop coming out. Its hard to make a list without missing a few. So for the moment these are my favorites from the last months:
New volume for the African Scream Contest compilation series and its hotter than ever, repress of rare Osmar Milito first album, repress of japanese Electro Keyboard Orchestra album with funky library inspired music, repress of essential boogie Larry Mcgee "The Burg", atmospheric beat science ep from Turner Street Sound, the amazing Nu Guinea "Nuova Napoli" album inspired in the streets of Napoli, Will Dimaggio "at ease" sweet jazzy house album, psychedelic jazz experiments from Estrada Orchestra ep called "Vaba", the amazing contemporary jazz album "antiphon" from Alfa Mist, Arp Frique album with stellar collaborations such as Ed Motta, Orlando Julius and Americo Brito to name a few, Mr Fingers "Cerebral Hemispheres" new album 24 years after his last one, Toshio Matsuura Group "Loveplaydance" album with live contemporary jazz / funk versions of dancefloor classics, wonderful easy listening, space-age, mambo compilation called "Technicolor Paradise Rhum Rhapsodies & Other Exotic Delights" for those sunny afternoons in the terrace or by the pool, Mac Gregor reissue of rare in demand tracks, reissue of the amazing Marius Cultier "Ouelele" album, "Too Slow To Disco Brasil" compilation selected by the master Ed Motta, Momo Joseph in demand "love Africa Soul" 7" single reissued in Kalita records, Helio Matheus rare and essential album reissued in AOTN, third and last volume of italian dream house compilation "Welcome To Paradise", balearic pop heaven compilation "Club Meduse" released in Space Talk records, reissue of two peruvian funk essentials from Otto De Rojas Y Loss Ultra 70, Kamaal Williams "The Return" album that takes his contemporary jazzy funk experiments to the next level, Womack & Womack "MPB" reissue in the always reliable Melodies International label and last but not least the reissue of the ultra rare library disco album from Electric Machine called "Disco Fashion". These should be enough to keep you going.
